Windows 10: Remediation Incomplete?

    Remediation Incomplete?


    I did a deep scan after a fake warning popped up on a website, and found a trojan and was put as "severe". When I hit remove, I checked the history and it said that the trojan was labeled "Remediation Incomplete" after it was "removed". My question is, did my computer delete this virus or is it still there, because I immediately did another deep scan along with other security checks, and they all showed no threats. This is my first time ever getting a virus like this, so I don't know what this means.

    • What does it mean when you say menu is incomplete?

    • Did you find any errors?
