    "Remember this is a game" not working in Game Bar


    When I select this close the game bar and reopen it, it doesn't stay selected.I have an AMD Ryzen 9 7950x3D processor that works with the game bar to assign the right cores when playing games and I need to use this feature on some games that aren't recognized automatically by the game bar.I've reinstalled the game bar and updated it, but still no luck.

    I suggest you to try the troubleshooting steps listed in fix problems with Game bar
    on Windows 10     and check if it works.

    Disable game bar for a certain program

    1. While Google Chrome is in the forefront, open the game bar (either by clicking on the popup when it appears or with Win+G).
    2. Click the gear (⚙️) icon to open Game Bar settings.
    3. Uncheck "Remember this as a game ☑️".

    Game Bar Problems

    So this is still a major issue and there are several separate posts on the MS forum regarding

    this and still no solutions or suggestions which help.

    Reinstalling the Xbox app does not work neither.

    Any updates on this?

    I can also add that is seems like the OP could be right with this:

    "i tried unchecking "remember this as game" before closing the game and shutting down my laptop.

    After playing it again, game bar still worked. Sadly thou, i forgot to uncheck "remember this as game" before shutting it off again."

    Since when trying to record a different game everything works fine.

    So is there a way to reset the settings for a certain game?

    To make Game Bar "forget" it?
