Windows 10: Remote Access and Wait Cursor Colour

HelloI have two issues I would like to ask about.We run an Active Directory domain on our premises with two domain controllers, synching with Microsoft 365.I have set up a VPN using the tools buit in to Windows Server 2019. There is an Organisational Unit that hosts all the desktops in our charity's office and it is set to allow remote access to those on-premise desktops.I create a VPN adaptor on a client machine e.g. laptop and staff can connect using the adaptor from their home to our network. They can then use Remote Desktop Connection RDC to connect to a desktop in our office or they

2. 1. Type “remote settings” into the Cortana search box. Select “Allow remote access to your computer”. This may seem counter-intuitive, but this opens the Control panel
   dialog for Remote System Properties.
3. 2. Check “Don't Allow Remote Connections” to this Computer. You've now disabled remote access to your computer.

Try these two steps and tell us if your issue gets solved. If it does not then your PC may be infected. Use a Good antivirus to remove the infection from your device completely.

Random Lockup with Wait Cursor and Can't Access Task Manager

I have an ASUS tower running 64 bit Windows 10 with latest updates. Periodically and randomly it locks up with the wait cursor circulating. It usually happens when opening an app (Belarc, Exel, Media Shout, etc.). The cursor remains active but I can not open Task Manager nor any other programs. If you attempt to open other apps nothing happens until about 5 minutes when the wait cursor disappears and then all apps that I attempted to open open up and I can access task manager.
Looked at event viewer and I see nothing happening at the time it locked up. I do see several errors around the time of the event including Service Control Mgr, DistributedCOM, and Event ID (5973). Any suggestions I may try to eliminate this would be appreciated.
