Windows 10: remote access

I work at home. My computer at work does not have a camera/mic. My laptop is new HP. I use at home does. Running Windows 10. For zoom meetings, etc, I can see/hear but no one can see/hear me. All lap top settings correct. Others are scratching their heads. Is the because I run it through my work desktop the issue? The one with no camera. or mic. Thank you.

2. 1. Type “remote settings” into the Cortana search box. Select “Allow remote access to your computer”. This may seem counter-intuitive, but this opens the Control panel
   dialog for Remote System Properties.
3. 2. Check “Don't Allow Remote Connections” to this Computer. You've now disabled remote access to your computer.

Try these two steps and tell us if your issue gets solved. If it does not then your PC may be infected. Use a Good antivirus to remove the infection from your device completely.

Sounds like you are the recipient of stolen goods. All of our work laptops have this feature where it locks the BIOS and hard disk remotely if stolen, misplaced, or after a certain number of failed access attempts to the data on the disk without the TPM key.

I would suggest returning it to wherever you bought or got it.
