Windows 10: REMOTE ASSISTANCE

Greetings,

I've been reading someone's post or question about Remote Assistance. I know what it is & how it works & I believe the long name of it is Windows Remote Assistance. I was just wondering is this the same program that HP uses every time they connect to my own HP Laptop & move things around from their end & fix the problem on/in my PC I might be having. Iknow I start it off by going to:

HP.com/123 then I answer a couple of questions click on a couple of YES buttons & viola the contact with a support agent box opens & I can have a conversation like a chat in that box but I have the Tech agent on the phone so I usually just tell him my problems & hr starts moving stuff around with the cursor & minutes later viola the problem is fixed. Like I say I start it off to a visit to HP.com/123 but I'm pretty sure Microsoft is involved near the end. That's why I ask do the smart people put there do you think we're using that Windows Remote Assistance?

Note: You may open the Start menu and click on search bar to access search bar. Except the search bar option, everything will work in Windows 10 as suggested in the above article. You may not access some of
the computers if they are connected to domain. If you can see the sign-in screen of the remote PC but you can't sign in, you might not have been added to the Remote Desktop Users Group or to any group with administrator rights on the remote
PC. Ask your system admin to do this for you.

How to remove "HP Connected Remote" as a sign in account ?

HP Connected Remote is an app that comes preinstalled on select Windows HP computers. I would suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it resolves this issue.

• On the Windows 10 Start screen, type hp connected remote.
• Click HP Connected Remote from the Apps search results.
• Click Settings, and make sure Enable HP Connected Remote is turned On.
