Remote computer no longer accessible due to multiple connections - how to fix?

I used to be able to access a remote computer on our family intranet, but now I can't. Here is the error message I get:

"\\PCNAME is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network resource..."

"Multiple connections to the server or shared resource by the same user, using more than one user name, are not allowed. Disconnect all previous connections and try again."

I do have read/write access permission on the other computer. Nothing has changed except each machine upgraded to Office 2019 recently. I have Windows 10 v 2004.

==> Where can I see which connections I have to this other computer with which user names, and how would I disconnect them?

Or is there some other fix?

Thanks in advance for any help.

    :)

    help to remote connect

No need to setup a permanent remote connection for FB add-on's. I'd suggest Team Viewer. It's free and will allow you to access his pc safely and take control.

    Remote Access

    1. Follow these steps to disallow remote access to your PC completely:
    2. 1. Type “remote settings” into the Cortana search box. Select “Allow remote access to your computer”. This may seem counter-intuitive, but this opens the Control panel
      dialog for Remote System Properties.
    3. 2. Check “Don't Allow Remote Connections” to this Computer. You've now disabled remote access to your computer.

Try these two steps and tell us if your issue gets solved. If it does not then your PC may be infected. Use a Good antivirus to remove the infection from your device completely.
