Windows 10: Remote connection issue to Windows XP PC

Hi,I provide assistance for a client, which involves me remotely connecting to their PC through Windows RDP. Recently, I have been unable to connect to any of their sites with Windows XP.I receive the error message:An authentication error has occurred Code:080004005Remote Computer: xxx.xxx.xxx.xxxI assume a Windows update on our host computer is preventing this.Any information is much appreciated.Thanks

No need to setup a permanent remote connection for FB add-on's. I'd suggest Team Viewer. It's free and will allow you to access his pc safely and take control.

HP Connected Remote is an app that comes preinstalled on select Windows HP computers. I would suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it resolves this issue.

• On the Windows 10 Start screen, type hp connected remote.
• Click HP Connected Remote from the Apps search results.
• Click Settings, and make sure Enable HP Connected Remote is turned On.

Please be informed, Remote Desktop Connection in Windows 10 will work/connect to Windows XP, only if it is of professional edition.
