Windows 10: Remote Desktop connection loss if using Lightroom or Davinci Resolve at the remote host

Hello Guys,I have a problem with my rdp connection if I use graphik intense software on the hostsystem,like photoshop, lightroom, davinci and so on. After a while of using, the connection get lost and I have to reconnect. Sometimes every few seconds. After a restart of the host system, the rdp connection stays longer but after a while, it get lost again.So I did all optional Win Updates, installed the newest NVIDIA driver so everythings is up to date. My display driver is a GeForce GTX1070. I know, its a little older. I use the rdp feature daily and it worked a long time stable without any err

You will need to analyse the various stages that form part of the remote desktop connection. This will require some time and patience.

A remote desktop connection consists of these components:

• A host (which must run Windows Professional). This is the machine that you wish to control.
• A client (which can run any version of Windows). This is the machine that you work on.
• A link that connects the client with the host.

Is the host on the same network as the client or is it on a different network?

Okay guys need some help here before going crazy...
I am trying to setup a remote desktop connection and see exactly what the logged on user is looking at with out going through Windows Remote Desktop.

Since its local network I don't have any password or want to setup a password.

Any suggestions are appreciated

Have you tried Remote Desktop Connection, to connect from your Windows 10 laptop to your Windows 7 desktop? Try it first, post back and tell how it went.

Some additional help because you mentioned you are a remote newbie *Wink. The windows 7 related tutorials from our sister site the Seven Forums:

1. On Windows 7 desktop, set network location to either Home or Work (I recommend Work):

2. On Windows 7 desktop, allow incoming remote connections:

3. On Windows 7 desktop, find out its IP address:

4. On Windows 10 laptop, start the Remote Desktop application and connect to the Windows 7 desktop using the IP address from step 3 above (see Part Three in the tutorial):

   • Notice that although the tutorial is written for Windows 10, it also applies to Windows 7
