Windows 10: Remote Desktop Connection - This user account's password expired. Why?

I just got to work. I go to connect to my workstation at home.The only workstation that is powerful enough for CAD design which is what I work with.After a successful login, I am instead greeted with this error:So now I sit here, 18 miles away from home, able to successfully login to my workstation only to get rejected for something I HAVE NEVER CONFIGURED MY WINDOWS 11 PRO FOR WORKSTATIONS to do.What kind of clown does this?Microsoft: Hey, user. Remote Desktop: “user account has expired”

I have a headless PC running Windows 10. I am trying to connect to it using Remote Desktop, but I get this error alert:



It reads:
We couldn't connect to the remote PC because the password associated with the user account has expired. Change your password, or contact your network administrator for assistance.

Error code: 0xf07The user ID I set up on that PC has administrative privileges, and I never told the system to have the password expire. Why is it expired, and how can I fix that?

 

Remote Desktop: “user account has expired”

The default behavior is to have an expiration on passwords. You need to set the password to never expire or remember to change yur password periodically.

 

Remote desktop user account password has expired

I have been remoting into my desktop from my notebook. My desktop uses my O365 account. This has been working great. However, I just started to receive this message on the remote client - notebook - "The user account's password has expired. The password
must change in order to logon. Please update the password..."

On the desktop, the account is fine. If I logon to the O365 portal, the password is fine.

I am fairly confident that the password is ok.

Anyone have any ideas on this?
