Windows 10: Remote desktop disconnection and ffmpeg acquisition

Hi to everyone.I experienced a recurring problem after disconnection from several remote pc witch acquire video with ffmpeg from AV USB interfaces. Seems to be remote desktop take control of the audio input device not the video despite of the existing connection to ffmpeg. This breaks the ffmpeg acquisition. The remote desktop setup set the "Registrazione audio remoto" to "non registrare". I can't found any other way to let ffmpeg do his job. Any suggestion? Windows 10 and ffmpeg up to date. Windows 10 Remote Desktop Session - Sound stops when disconnect

Same problem here.

My scenario:

• I use foobar2000 to play music on the remote PC.
  
• On that remote PC I have installed virtual-audio-capture-grabber-device
  so that I can stream the music with ffmpeg to my own app.
  
• After disconnecting from the remote PC, my music streaming stops.

I have confirmed that the foobar2000 never stop playing. The ffmpeg never stop streaming. It looks like the audio output being suspended while RDP session being disconnected. Maybe there is a new energy-saver policy for device after the anniversary update
of win10?

It had worked many years from XP to the-before-anniversary-updated Win10.

It seems I can't but switch to Chrome desktop.

Please help me with the below details to understand your issue in a better way:

1. Are you using the Microsoft remote desktop app?
   

If you are using the Microsoft remote desktop app downloaded from
Microsoft store then, I suggest you to follow the steps to
fix problems with apps from Microsoft Store.



If the issue still persists with the Microsoft remote desktop app, then you can contact the support team by going to the

link and scrolling down to the bottom and clicking on
Microsoft remote desktop support under the Publisher info.



However, if you are using the Remote desktop connection, which comes pre-installed with Windows 10, then I suggest you to please post your question in the
TechNet forum.

Remote Desktop

Okay guys need some help here before going crazy...
I am trying to setup a remote desktop connection and see exactly what the logged on user is looking at with out going through Windows Remote Desktop.

Since its local network I don't have any password or want to setup a password.

Any suggestions are appreciated
