Using windows 10 PC and remote desktop into another windows 10 machine I lose mouse clicks on the screen 1 only. Screen 2 continues to work. If I go back to windows 1 the mouse is moving but clicks are ignored. If you hit the windows key, it will restore clicks until I move to windows 2. Then 2 works fine as always and if I go back to window 1 mouse click and that highlight that shows as you move up and down is gone. If I pull up Bomgar to share and show to IT support, it is working, Bomgar somehow fixes the issue. Windows 7 PC works fine even now.

Remote Desktop limit to 2 screens?

Is it possible to limit Remote Desktop in Windows 10 to only use 2 out of 3 screens connected to a pc?

Remote Desktop is to a Windows 2012 Server.

I suggest you to refer the below steps and see if this helps.

• 
  Enable remote desktop in settings
  
  • Control Panel\System and Security\System, Click "Remote Settings" on the left side
• 
  Verify my port forwarding settings were properly forwarding to my computers local IP address
  
  • run "cmd.exe" and then type "ipconfig". Find your IP from that list

• Make sure your firewall settings are open
• Go to "Control Panel\System and Security\Windows Firewall\Allowed apps"

• On the left, click "Allow an app or feature through Windows Firewall"
• Click "Change Settings"
• Find "Remote Desktop" in the list and make sure both "Private" and "Public" is checked.

• Since when are you facing this issue?

There's a Remote Desktop App available in Windows 10. Follow the steps below to find it:

• Click the Search Bar which is in the Task Bar.
• Type in Remote Desktop App .
• Once it pops up click on it and follow the on screen instructions to use it.
