Windows 10: Remote Desktop is slower with Windows 10 version 1903

Hello,

I’ve been working recently on my computer remotely and everything was fine until the update 1903 was installed on the computer I’m working on. Then RDP became much slower and the mouse reaction was not ok. The IT technician has tried everything but it didn’t work until he downgraded Windows to version 1803 and everything went fine after that. I hope that Microsoft fix that problem because it’s really annoying.

Windows 10 - Remote Desktop

We will surely assist you with the issue you are facing with Windows 10.
- Which version of Windows 10 Operating System are you using?

- Were you able to upgrade to Windows 10 successfully?

I suggest you to refer the below steps and see if this helps.

• 
  Enable remote desktop in settings
  
  • Control Panel\System and Security\System, Click "Remote Settings" on the left side
• 
  Verify my port forwarding settings were properly forwarding to my computers local IP address
  
  • run "cmd.exe" and then type "ipconfig". Find your IP from that list

• Make sure your firewall settings are open
• Go to "Control Panel\System and Security\Windows Firewall\Allowed apps"

• On the left, click "Allow an app or feature through Windows Firewall"
• Click "Change Settings"
• Find "Remote Desktop" in the list and make sure both "Private" and "Public" is checked.

Remote desktop screen black after Windows 10 1903 feature update attempt

Unfortunately, Microsoft has identified compatibility issues with Remote Desktop Screen

According to Microsoft:-

Initiating a Remote Desktop connection may result in black screen

When initiating a Remote Desktop connection to devices with some older GPU drivers, you may receive a black screen. Any version of Windows may encounter this issue when initiating a Remote Desktop connection to a Windows 10, version 1903 device which is running
an affected display driver, including the drivers for the Intel 4 series chipset integrated GPU (iGPU).

Affected platforms:

Client: Windows 10, version 1903

Server: Windows Server, version 1903

Next steps: We are working on a resolution that will be made available in upcoming release.

Remote Desktop

Okay guys need some help here before going crazy...
I am trying to setup a remote desktop connection and see exactly what the logged on user is looking at with out going through Windows Remote Desktop.

Since its local network I don't have any password or want to setup a password.

Any suggestions are appreciated
