Windows 10: Remote Desktop to 2012 R2 - Application GUI Rendering Skewed

On my Windows 11 laptop, running MSTSC 10.0.22621, when I remote desktop to a 2012 R2 RDP host and launch my AthenaHealth AthenaPractice v20 client, several of the application windows are not rendered properly. The boxes on each window are shifted so that portions of text are cut off, vertical scroll bar doesn't show, etc... If I connect from my Windows 10 machine, running MSTSC 10.0.19041, everything renders properly.If I initiate an RDP session from the Windows 10 machine, then take over that existing session from Windows 11 it works fine. Problem using SetWindowPos Windows function in Windows 2012 R2 Remote Desktop farm

Good morning,

we've deployed a custom Delphi application which call SetWindowPos Windows function (code is
SetWindowPos(Self.Handle, HWND_TOPMOST, 0, 0, 0, 0, SWP_NOMOVE or SWP_NOSIZE or SWP_NOACTIVATE) to keep on top the active Window.

It is now used in windows 2012 R2 remote desktop environment.

It works (like in previous Windows version) but sometimes the non-topmost windows is displayed on top instead of the topmost Window.

We've found the same problem in Windows 2008 R2 (A non-topmost window can be displayed above a window that has the WS_EX_TOPMOST extended window style in Windows 7 or in Windows Server 2008 R2 - Microsoft Support)
but it seems that no patch are available for Windows 2012 R2.

Perform Upgrade of Windows Cluster & SQL Cluster from 2008 R2 to 2012 R2

I am looking to perform Upgrade of Windows cluster on which SQL cluster is running 2008 R2 and i have to upgrade the OS to 2012 R2.

Please can some one suggest or share some step by step guide which i can refer.

Windows Server 2012 R2 Remote Desktop

We have configured a remote access (HTML5 VPN) from Sophos UTM Firewall to Windows Server 2012 R2. The goal is to established remote desktop to the server. The config is working fine before then suddenly we got an internal server error every time the user
try to connect to the server using HTML5 VPN. Sophos used Network Level Authentication. This was been reported to Sophos and based on their findings, the fault was not from the firewall and it does not block any traffic but the server is the one who sending
packet reset. I checked the logs on the event viewer and found out that every time user try to connect, the server just receive a connection (Event 261) which supposedly after that, the user must be authenticated (Event 1149)
