Windows 10: Remote Desktop USB cable thing?

Is there such a thing or is it all network based? Need a way to control mini win10 server, that or just get a KVM with HDMI LOL

mmm I wonder if the USB 3.0 models are sub 100 these days...

The tech did a clean boot remotely that didn't effect a change in the error. At the moment I'm trying too verify that this isn't being caused by a usb hub between the monitor and the desktop or a cable issue that could be triggering the error.

 

Can't restart a remote-connected desktop

I use Microsoft Remote Desktop to control to another cable-connected desktop.

This works find except I can't restart the computer remotely.

It happened when the computer went sleep and wake, then connect to the PC with Microsoft Remote Desktop and try to restart the PC by click the restart button at start menu directly. The PC stuck at black screen and didn't restart nor shutdown, basically
uncontrollable.

I've tried to use a usb wifi stick rather than internet port and connect again, it went well and restart normally.

Please help me to resolve this problem, thanks.

 

Well, I'm not exactly sure what the question is but...I control my Windows Server via Remote control access over the network. The server has no keyboard or monitor installed. I just remote into it from another computer that is on the local LAN and control everything. My 2 cents worth.

 

I thought there might be a simple lil file sharing like cable thing that can easily establish a remote connection without much effort. I guess I got it and network cable confused in my head.
