Windows 10: Remote Windows Server 0x80080005 Problem

I manage a remote Windows Server 2022, via Remote Desktop, and since yesterday night it cannot update.When I run Windows Update, after a long time trying to update, it reports"There where problems installing updates, but we'll try again later. Windows Update returns 0x80080005

Hello,

I recently realized my Windows 10 had not been upgraded since February 8th this year (2020).

Current Windows installation: Windows 10 Home | Version 1903 | OS-version 18362.592

After "searching" for updates, Windows returns error code 0x80080005. I have tried the commonly suggested solutions but to no avail.

I have tried the following

• Running the DISM tool followed by sfc /scannow (as
  described here)
• Resetting Software distribution folder (as
  described here)

None of these methods have fixed the problem.

 

Unable to access server via remote desktop after router change

Hi,

I manage my home theatre and music servers via remote desktop. Both have wired connections to the router.

All has been well for many years.

Recently our old modem/router was replaced with a new one. There have been no other changes.

While I can still remote into the home theatre server I am no longer able to remote into the music server:

Remote Desktop can't connect to the remote computer....

What I can do is:

• ping the music server
• bring up shares on the music server on another computer
• access the music server using TeamViewer

Does anyone have any suggestions how I can use remote desktop to manage my music server again please?

Sorry? Have you got the correct Tweaking .com's repair tool? Or followed the steps to the end where you actually do the numbered repairs?
