  1. RemoteFXvGPUDisablement On Startup?

Hi there, sorry to bother, just wondering if I could get any advice on this:

Starting a few weeks ago, a program called RemoteFXvGPUDisablement.exe started running on startup, on my Windows 10 64-bit machine. It closes about 15-20 seconds after startup. Under its properties it says it's located in a system folder and is a Microsoft file.

I did a little Googling, but was able to find any solid information besides that there was a risk regarding Virtual machines on Windows 10 with certain GPU setups. Now, I don't run any virtual machines, and have the option disabled in my BIOS. Is there anything I need to be concerned about? Or is this file running just keeping anything malicious from happening each boot?

Many thanks for any and all advice! I suspect this is completely normal, but always like to be safe.

Can't get GPU-Z to start with Windows 8.1 startup

I'm not sure how to do that. Could you list the steps for a noob?

  3. Cannot launch Settings on startup menu

    Hi Luky,

Thank you for posting your reply.

I suggest you to perform a Startup Repair by following the steps below.

    • In the Lock screen, press/hold the shift key and click on power icon>restart.
    • Click on Troubleshoot>Advanced Options>Startup Repair and follow the prompts to start the Startup Repair.
After the Startup Repair is complete, check for the status.

    Regards

    RemoteFXvGPUDisablement On Startup?

Adding programs to startup with Windows 7?

You could add entries to the registry to launch the apps on startup, but it's easier to just add them to the startup foler as Newt suggested.
