Windows 10: REMOVAL OF TASKBAR VERTICAL ALIGNMENT PERSONALIZATION IN WINDOWS 11

TASKBAR VERTICAL ALIGNMENT PERSONALIZATION REMOVED IN WINDOWS 11 : I've had taskbar vertically aligned on left side of my monitor for some time, more efficient for me and the way I work. What is the purpose of removing this capability in Windows 11 to personalize the taskbar? As a shareholder since 1987, MICROSOFT has always emphasized more power and personalization in the hands of the end user. This would be easy to fix, I'm thinking. The removal of this feature in Windows 11 is a terrible idea and must be provided quickly in the next upgrade or with a patch. Disappointing fumble by MIC

Window 11 Taskbar icon Vertical Alignment

Hello,

I have installed Windows 11 Enterprise Evaluation and the Action center, battery status, sound, wifi and clock icons on the taskbar is showing on the button as showed on the screenshot, I want to change the alignment to center.

My Question is:

How to change the vertical alignment of Action center, battery status, sound, wifi and clock icons to the center.

I understand that you are having problems with the taskbar icons not being aligned.



It looks like your taskbar is forced to use "small icons", please turn this setting off. Windows 11 does not provide such an option, and modifying the taskbar icon size through some unofficial methods may cause various errors.



The reason for the lack of alignment is that Windows 11 does not support small icons, and you can restore the taskbar icons to their default settings.

Window 11 - Vertical Taskbar Option Gone - Really?!?!?!

For all my years using Windows I have much preferred having my Taskbar aligned vertically. I almost never need to left/right scroll because almost all views are much narrower than my screen Window 11 took away that option. Now I've lost vertical space and have to scroll vertically more often (carpal tunnel much!).

Microsoft, put the option to have the Taskbar in a more optimal vertical orientation. You are acting like Apple!
