Windows 10: Removal of Weather Info on Taskbar& New Version 21H2 from Windows 10 OS.

To,Microsoft CommunityDear Sir, This is Gavin. Using Windows 10 OS, Version: 21H2 OS Build: 19042.649. Today 29 April, 2021 i received Windows 10, Version 20H2 Update i.e KB5001391. With New update i received Weather / News / Interests on Taskbar. I would like to know can i remove or hide this from Taskbar. Please give me tips on that.Also would like to know when will Windows 10 OS "Version: 21H2" Version be available for use. I want to Download & use Version :21H2" in My Laptop. Please give me tips on this as well.Thanks & Regards,Gavin

To disable the taskbar news widget, use these steps:

• Right-click the taskbar on Windows 10.
• Select the News and interests menu and choose the Hidden option. Disable taskbar News and Interests.
• (Optional) Select the Show icon only option if you want to keep the widget using less space in the taskbar.

I suggest you to follow the Steps to set your default location and check if that helps.

1. Type Weather on search and click on setting (Gear icon)

2. Select your location and set as default.

Follow the Steps to set Weather app in lock screen.

• Type Lock screen setting in Search.
• Under Choose an app to show the detailed status.
• Select Weather; restart your computer
