Windows 10: Remove line when autohide taskbar?

I have my taskbar on autohide, but when it is hidden, I can still see a small line of the taskbar. Can I make the taskbar hide itself completely?

Also, the taskbar pops up when I move my mouse near. Can I disable that as well (so that taskbar pops up only when I press the windows key) ?

WHEN TASKBAR AUTOHIDE DOESN'T WORK IN WINDOWS 10

When Taskbar Autohide no longer works in WINDOWS 10,

try getting rid of as many icons as possible in the System Tray Hidden Icons, including Windows One Drive.

The System Tray is usually found on the bottom right of the bottom Taskbar.

Unfortunately, these icons keep coming back when one signs out, and have to be removed again.

That should allow for autohiding the taskbar in WINDOWS 10, at least for one session.

 

TaskBar Malfunctioning (AutoHide as well as Task Bar Menu deficiencies)

My Windows 10 Taskbar does not consistently autohide. It will autohide for a while and then stops. Also, the taskbar will not hide behind programs like MS Word when I am typing. I need to see the bottom of the screen and the taskbar blocks my view. When
I go into the Taskbar Properties and Start Menu to again autohide the taskbar, none of the changes I click (like move taskbar) will work, and it still shows the autohide taskbar box with a checkmark. The only solution is to re-boot until the next time the
malfunction occurs.

Please help.

i get the same thin line and tiny dot (show desktop vertical line) at the bottom right corner when the taskbar is hidden.
short of not executing explorer.exe in the shell during boot (will give you a blank screen), there isnt any way to get rid of it.
as for hiding the taskbar completely, it doesnt seem to have the ability to resize it to a hidden state at all.
while i have used no explorer.exe for boot up in the past, what i would use to execute explorer if needed or to execute certain programs in their known locations without having explorer on the dekstop, is task manager (ctrl+shift+esc, file, run task)

turning on "transparency effects" removes the taskbar outline but not the "dot" at the bottom right corner (show desktop vertical line) and not any horizontal outlines from active applications
