Windows 10: Remove Microsoft Account and Local Data from "gift" PC

Hello, Hope this is a relatively simple ask.I set up a WIN 11 PC for my parents with two local administrator accounts. To do so, I used my Microsoft Account for the initial Windows 11 configuration and set up. I will be giving them the desktop and wish to delete my account and data from the PC.I changed the name and account type of my Microsoft Account to local/administrator but see some local folders and references to my Microsoft cloud data - which I want to delete locally from this PC not anywhere else.What are the steps to remove my Microsoft Account and data from this PC as I give th

I suggest you to refer the methods below and check if it helps.

Method 1: Safe Mode.

I suggest you to restart your computer in Safe Mode and check if the issue persist.

To start your system in safe mode follow the below steps:

• 
  Press and hold Shift key and
  restart your Computer.
  
• 
  Select Troubleshoot.
  
• 
  Select Advance Option.
  
• 
  Select Startup Repair.
  
• 
  Follow the on Screen instruction.

If issue persist, I suggest you to refer method 2.

Method 2:

I suggest you to login from your Microsoft account and try to remove the local account.

To remove the local account, please follow the steps below:

• 
  Press Windows + R key.
  
• 
  On the pop up window type netplwiz and hit enter.
  
• 
  From the pop up window select the account you want to remove.
  
• 
  Hit remove.

Just simply log in with your Microsoft Account.
