  1. Remove news feed from login screen

Hello, every time I open my laptop, I immediately see stock market news, weather and other news right underneath where the user enters the login credentials. I already set the newsfeed to off in the taskbar but I still get the annoying news in the login screen. How can I get rid of this?

    :)

  2. N97 Homescreen feeds missing

    Pilsner -

Naw you dont need pipes or anything...

    1. Add your feed in the web browser Go to Web feeds > Add new feed.

    2. once the feed is added you should see it in the list 'widgets' for the home screen. SO if in step one you called your feed R2D2, then in step two you should see R2D2 in the home screen widget list (it won't be labeled 'feed' or anything obvious, just
    the name you gave it).

    Hope that helps.

    Can't login to new computer w/Windows 10

    Hi,

    Thank you for your reply.

    • Are you able to login to Microsoft Account on Web?

    • Have you installed any language pack?
I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to select the appropriate language in login screen at the bottom right corner and check if it helps.

Steps 2: Use On-screen keyboard in the login screen to login and check if it helps.

Hope this helps. If the issue remains unresolved, please get back to us and we would be happy to help.

  4. Remove news feed from login screen

How do I unfavorite a Feed? (KB 2018522)

    Symptoms
I want to remove a feed from my Home Screen.

    Resolution
There are two kinds of feeds on your home screen: News feeds and web feeds.

    To remove news feeds:

    • Go to the Apps screen.
    • Tap Feed Reader.
    • Find the news feed or web feed you would like to remove and tap it.
      • If it is a news feed, tap More >
        Unsubscribe
        .
      • If it is a web feed (such as Facebook), tap Unfavorite.
The feed should now be removed. You can re-add this feed at any time by going back to
    Feed Reader and tapping Add.

    More Information
If you unfavorite a feed, the stories from the feed will no longer display on the Loop or in the Favorite Feeds screen.
