Windows 10: Remove Organization Control over Personal Laptop

I was using Outlook to load my school emails and it asked me if I wanted to let the school's server configure my settings. I said yes at the time partially because I wasn't aware of the full implications but now I am no longer at the school and need to recover control of my own laptop. Basically, because my computer was using the school's settings, there are now some things I cannot change even as a local admin. I tried looking online and the only thing I could find were solutions that require gpedit like this; which isn't available on Windows 10 Home. Then I found this page which told me how I could get gpedit. I did what both pages said but it changed nothing.


First, how can I fix this issue with the group policies? Since I am no longer at the school, I really need to regain control of those locked settings.


Second, could you please take a look at the two pages I linked to and let me know if there are any security concerns? For example, is the are there any security risks with the BAT file used to install gpedit? I know it is a bit late to ask after I have already used it but I would at least like to know if I should be keeping an eye out for funny activity.


Edit: I am not sure if it matters or not but I do have a screenshot of the dialogue that asked if I wanted to allow the school to control my settings. As such, I do have a record of the server that the settings were synced to.

Remove account

I suggest you backup your personalized files first before removing the account.
To delete an account, follow these steps:

1. Press WIN + X keys and click Command Prompt (Admin) from the menu.
2. Type the following command and press Enter. Replace test with the name of your sister's account. Code:

 

Laptop with broken screen How much?

I would like suggestions and look in local stores. I dont wanna buy a laptop from someone online. Sorry. But could be a good idea if you asked him about the performance on older games. Gonna make a list ofall laptops people suggest me.

Remove the screen for space purpose here its small desk and if the screen is opened it will hide my 22 inches lcd

1. Shutdown your laptop.

2. Remove the battery.

3. Connect the AC power adapter to your laptop.

4. Power on the laptop

5. Open the Device Manager by typing Devmgmt.msc into Start Menu or from Control Panel.

6. Under the Batteries category, right-click all of the Microsoft ACPI Compliant Control Method Battery listings, and select Uninstall (it’s okay if you only have 1).

7. Shutdown the laptop.

8. Insert the battery.

9. Power on the laptop.

If above suggestions wont resolve the battery charge issue then follow below steps.




Step 2

1. Shutdown the laptop.

2. Remove the battery.

3. Start the laptop with only AC adapter connected to laptop.

4. When you login to Windows OS connect the battery while Windows OS working.
