Windows 10: remove previously used email address from system

currently onedrive is syncing- 1 account only, it is *** Email address is removed for privacy *** settings, add an account, email address is auto filled: *** Email address is removed for privacy *** want to remove this email address from the system's memory.it started when i added that address as a user profile in ms edge browser.which automatically added itself into onedrive and synced everything files on demand mode.i have already gone to settings, accounts, email & accounts, accounts used by other apps, removed the entry for manoj91@outlook, restarted pc.

Permanently remove list of previously used email addresses in Windows Mail

I need to permanently remove a list of previously used email addresses in Windows Mail.

When I go to add an account on the Windows Mail app and select 'Outlook.com', it brings up this list of email addresses on the 'Let's get you signed In' 'Use one of these accounts' screen. How can I get rid of the list permanently?

I've reset the app and uninstalled it. Neither of which got rid of the list. Where is this list of email addresses being stored?

Here is the step to remove that old email address.

Start typing an email address into the “To” field. As soon as you see the old email address being recommended as one of the potential candidates, use the down arrow key to scroll through the list of suggestions. Once you highlight the old email address, type the delete key. In many cases, this will actually remove the entry not only from the current list of suggestions but from future suggestions as well. You may even find that as you mouse over the drop-down list the highlighted item will have an “x” to explicitly allow you to delete it.

Just do this step and your good to go.

how to clear email address auto-population

Hi,



when you start typing an email address into a new composed email, the application starts auto-suggestions of previously used emails and whatever is in the contacts.

If you mis-spelled an email once and sent an email to that address, that address still appears. How can you clear that list.

In Outlook for example you can just move arrow down on the auto-suggestion and hit delete. The same also works in IE or Firefox browsers if you want to delete auto-suggestions on previously used fields.
