Windows 10: Remove program's 1px outline border in latest update?

    Remove program's 1px outline border in latest update?


    With shadows enabled, the default border outlines programs have are useless and only serve to make them look worse. "Removing" the border by unticking accent color for "Title bars and window borders" does not remove the borders of unfocused programs and any legacy windows programs for that matter. This looks ugly when using light theme!

    I tried following old reddit posts that successfully found a partial solution, but they have since been not working and is in need for another solution for the latest current version of Windows 10.

    Is there a registry key available or one that can be made (or possibly an undocumented one) that can either:

    • Properly remove them from existence
    • Apply the active border's effect to unfocused windows if "Title bars and window borders" happens to be disabled

    White outlined border around Setting links

    I've tried and unable to find anything relating to outlines or borders in that section; this border although disappear after I click somewhere else but it bugs me that it has an outline now, before the update it didn't. Looks like somewhere along active
    links in windows code.

    I'm not sure which update it is but I'm thinking it the Anniversary update, after that those borders/outlines had arrived.

    hi there I'm on windows 10 version 2004. I noticed 1px border is active around apps even though I have title bars and borders turned off in the settings app. I used to have similar problem on version 1903, except it goes away when tick title bars and borders on
