Windows 10: Remove properties, removing ALL properties, not just single selected

Hi there. I use iTunes to extract songs from CDs I have purchased, but they always leave a “0” in the comments field on the file properties. I can’t remove them from iTunes itself, and when I go to “remove properties” option on Windows explorer, I select the “remove the following properties from this file” option, and although I only select/check the “comments” box, it completely eradicates ALL fields of the mp3 file. Artwork, album title, artist, year, everything.Is this a bug on Windows, or am I doing something wrong?

Can't remove File Properties

When attempting to remove File Properties by following these steps:

File > Properties > Details > Remove Properties and Personal Information > Remove the following properties from this file > Select All > OK

The title, which contains the college that I go to, is not removed from the file's properties, even when trying the other option to "Create a copy with all possible properties removed". I would like to get this title removed from the file, so that I can share this file to other social media, without having to show what college I go to.

So, this is really bugging me, I downloaded an album that I have purchased, when I got the files there was no in file details when looking at the properties of each file.

I have complained to the company I purchased the album from.

I click on a song, I open the properties and see no data, I can't edit any of the fields, but there is an option that states "Remove Properties and Personal Information".

I select this and get a new dialog box stating "Some of these properties might contain personal information"

There is a non-useful MS link that provides no insight.

Options are and we will start with the first:

1. Create a copy with all properties removed, I did this, and all properties were the same, so not removed.
   
2. Remove the following properties from this file, I did this, and no properties were removed.
   

I have been looking at YT vids but their all from many months or years past and most post state it does not work.

Remove Properties and Personal Information

Hi,

When I go into a files properties, for this a WAV file and select details I am unable to edit any of the Properties.

At the bottom is the link for "Remove Properties and Personal Information", when I select this I get an additional properties box appear.





I have created a copy as stated with all possible properties removed, but all properties have not been removed.

If I select "Remove the following properties from this file", I can't select more than one, and even if I select "Select All" same result, I can't edit the details.

This is not just on other files.

Idea: This is my new PC and I have copied my files across, not sure if that is related. however there are some files that I have downloaded do have this restriction and some that do not
