  1. Remove "Recommended" from the start screen

Does anyone know whether this can be done, and if so how? It takes up half the start screen so now I have to scroll to find my most used apps. It's nonsense -why would I want to know what Microsoft recommends? And then secondly under Windows 10, "Recently added" was at the top of the app list - great. Now it clutters up the start screen. I know I can turn it off, which I've done, but now its not there at all. IF IT AIN'T BROKEN WHY "FIX" IT?

    :)

  3. PC goes into black screen and froze

Yeah I'm pretty sure that's not a software related issue which is why I was suggesting that you remove the video card to start with since it's such an easy process of elimination step.

I'm not familiar with AMD CPUs, I did see that you had listed in your system specs but I had no idea whether or not it has an iGPU

Is there any possibility of you being able to get your hands on any compatible video card at all?it would be the easiest step to try to troubleshoot or at least one of the easier ones. You should be able to get into the bios without anything but A display cable hooked up to the motherboard

  4. Remove "Recommended" from the start screen

How do I get the Windows 8.1 start screen in Windows 10?

    Hi,

    Apologies for the late reply.

I would suggest you to try the following steps:

    • Click Start icon and click Settings

    • Choose Personalization, click on Start

    • Turn on “Use start full screen”

    Regards,
