  1. Remove Tablet Mode Features - Windows 11

So I usually have my laptop folded so I can use external keyboard and mouse, and to begin with it asked me if I wanted to use tablet mode This is when I was using Windows 10 and I just hit no, don't change and everything was fine and the UI didn't change like it would in tablet mode. Fast forward to now where I have upgraded to Windows 11. I have folded my laptop around like normal but it seemed to have the feature of tablet mode I already know there is no tablet mode in Win11 like checkboxes next to items in File Explorer. And in another instance the taskbar apps are spread out more than

  3. tablet mode / autorate

    Hi Lucien,

Tablet mode makes Windows more intuitive and easier to use with touch on devices. To turn off the auto rotate feature, refer to these steps:

    • Put your device in Tablet mode.
    • Go to Settings > System > Display.
    • Look for Lock rotation of this display, then toggle it off.

Feel free to post back if you have further questions.

    Tablet Mode in Windows 10

    Hi,

Tablet mode is a new feature that should automatically activate when you detach a tablet from its base or dock. Also, in tablet mode, the Desktop is unavailable.

To disable the Tablet mode in Windows 10, you may follow the steps below:

    • Click the Start button.
    • Launch the Settings app.
    • Tap on System in the left pane of the screen; then, scroll down to the bottom until you see
      Tablet Mode.
    • Verify if the toggle is set to either on or off based on your preference.

We appreciate it if you could get back to us and provide us your feedback.
