Windows 10: Remove the news feed from Microsoft Start?

I'm talking about the weather icon in the left of my taskbar on my new computer. I click on it and it displays the weather, traffic and also a bunch of new stories. I understand I can turn this off altogether in the taskbar settings. I don't want to do this, I quite like having the weather displayed. I also understand I can hide individual stories, I don't want to do this either. I want to turn off all stories. I DO NOT want to see the news feed at all whatsoever in any form. Only the weather/traffic/widgets I actually want.Is this possible to remove or do I have to remove the entire thing?

UNINSTALL all of Microsoft FEEDS (news and feeds parts)

I had tried all of these before suggested, thank you for trying that though.

I am looking for a appx package command line code sequence to permanently remove all of the FEEDS, I know that other programs queue and pull FEEDS into a temporary load status that is TSR in the background.

IE - command line something like get-appxpackage *FEEDS* | remove etc etc Then I know that the software would be stripped off, then I can double check the file listing and manually edit them so that when it does try to load the program will auto load fail on a null file.

The usual solution for all of Microsoft bloatware.

I am replying to the above advice. Been there, done that. In fact, I did that set of steps before I ever asked for help here. Does anyone have any other suggestions? It is very inconvenient to have no taskbar.

I suggest you to follow the steps below on how to Customize News Feed in Microsoft Edge Browser and check if this helps:

• Open Microsoft Edge Browser and click “Customise” (above top sites on the right side).
• Select Top sites and my news feed, select your language and choose your favorite topics.
• After selecting your favorite topics, now click Save. That’s it. Now you can see your favorite news on Microsoft Edge home.
