    Remove Uninstalled Apps from Startups and Registry


    I downloaded installed PowerShell on my pc but later uninstalled the application. I don't know why it is still showing in my Start up apps in task manager. How do I get rid of it?I tried to check through the registry but can find it. Any help?

    Adding programs to startup with Windows 7?

    You could add entries to the registry to launch the apps on startup, but it's easier to just add them to the startup foler as Newt suggested.

    • Is the issue specific to a particular app?
    • What other steps have you tried before the registry step in order to uninstall that app?

    Please reply to the questions in order to assist you in a better way.

    How do you uninstall chipset drivers?

    I'm installing a new mobo so I need to uninstall the intel 865g drivers to make way for the P35 drivers.

    Can't find any uninstall options in add/remove programs and intel chipset inst listed in driver cleaner.

    Any suggestions? *Confused Remove Uninstalled Apps from Startups and Registry :confused:
