Windows 10: remove xfinitywifi

Hi All,


I would really like to get rid of the xfinitywifi open network. I am NOT an xfinity/comcast customer. But my home PC keeps connecting to it despite *already* being connected to a private network. I've gone into "Network & Internet" and forgotten xfinitywifi. It's no longer listed as a known network. But it continues to pop up and automatically connect anyway.


I just want to be connected to the private network I'm paying for and which has a secure password. No offense xfinity/comcast, but I'm more interested in security than in getting a "free" service...


Please help me get rid of xfinity!

Remove account


I suggest you backup your personalized files first before removing the account.
To delete an account, follow these steps:

• Press WIN + X keys and click Command Prompt (Admin) from the menu.
• Type the following command and press Enter. Replace test with the name of your sister's account. Code: net user test /del[/quote]

ive done everything. but im still getting disconnected alot.

i think its the xfinitywifi tower but they told me over the phone that they cant do anything about it
