Windows 10: Removed college MS account still asking for login

Discus and support Removed college MS account still asking for login in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; I have removed a defunct college MS account, it does not appear on the accounts page, but it continues to ask for login details.Any way to stop this?...     Thanks.

    The only place the college account is seen is in “Accounts used by other apps” and Iam not seeing an option to remove it.

    Please make sure that the account has been completely removed. To do this, go to Settings > Accounts > Access work or school. If the account is still listed, click on it and then click on Disconnect.
