    Removing a network drive from Windows 10


    I have Adobe Cloud and i previous installed Adobe Animate on an external hard drive with no problem and it worked fine, but that one was too small for all my Adobe programs. So i am using my old 2TB external hard drive which i last used about 2 years ago. Now when i try to reinstall Adobe animate it says "unable to install on a Network Drive", even when i try to place it on my desktop it says the same thing.... How do i remove an external hard drive from a "network drive" on windows?

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

    Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

    I followed all of the steps and was not able to see the "attributes" file under ShellFolder. Any suggestions? I would like to remove both "network" and "this pc" Thanks
