    Removing Access To Block my Files Being Deleted From TrustedInstaller


    Dear Microsoft,


    My laptop is very cluttered and I'd like to clear up some files that previous forums have resolved, yet the options on my laptop are not available. As I believe I'm running an updated version of Windows I would like your advice on giving myself full ability to delete my files.


    I am also trying to remove a secondary Administrator from my laptop which appears in the security settings for permissions yet not in User Accounts.


    This advice would be helpful.

    How do I delete left-over files using TrustedInstaller?

    I have quite a few left over files after deleting Avast. When I try to delete the files, I get a message saying I need permission. Apparently TrustedInstaller is the required tool. Does anyone know how I can access TrustedInstaller?

    Remove account


    I suggest you backup your personalized files first before removing the account.
    To delete an account, follow these steps:
    1. Press WIN + X keys and click Command Prompt (Admin) from the menu.
    2. Type the following command and press Enter. Replace test with the name of your sister's account. Code:
