Removing an Account in Windows Mail does not clean up Storage space

Hello Support Team,I am doing some storage clean-up with my Windows 10 Home Edition.I have removed/deleted my personal Hotmail Account from Windows Mail and Calendar program. The remove/delete process seems completed successfully. However, when I check my Storage status via Settings, Mails still occupies a high space usage shown 7.79GB.I tried searching for the mail file with help from the forum; by checking on the folder the mail data may reside. Yet, I couldn't find the file *.eml.Is there any other method on this? Kindly advise and support on this.Thank you and Best Regardsizzooll

    :)

    Remove account

I suggest you backup your personalized files first before removing the account.
To delete an account, follow these steps:
    1. Press WIN + X keys and click Command Prompt (Admin) from the menu.
    2. Type the following command and press Enter. Replace test with the name of your sister's account. Code:

How to remove a bad drive in Windows 10 storage spaces pool

Could someone list the steps involved in replacing a bad drive from a Windows 10 storage spaces pool? I cannot find any info on the Microsoft support site that is specific to Windows 10. Also, could you list the steps to remove a 'good' drive and replace
it with another drive if the process is different?

    Microsoft storage space device?

    Hi Misa

Please Note the following process will remove you drive form storage spaces, it will also wipe that drive back to Unallocated Space

Open the Settings App (gear icon on your Start Menu)

    Go to System - Storage

    Click 'Manage Storage Spaces'

Click 'Change Settings' and if necessary, confirm that choice

On that drive, click 'Prepare for Removal'

That drive will be listed as 'Preparing for removal'

Wait until that drive is listed as ' Ready to remove', Click Remove - Remove Drive

Then open Disk Management (accessible by right clicking your Start Button

Right clcik the Unallocated space on that drive and choose 'New - Simple Volume' then accept the defaults

You will then have a full clean drive ready to use . . .
