Windows 10: Removing flash drive safely

    I need to safely eject my flash drive but once again I am getting the "device is currently in use" message even though I am not using it for anything. This seems to happen with all my flash drives occasionally. Usually I just would sign out not even restarting my pc, but simply signing out of my user login and then log in again and it stops saying the flash drive is in use and I can safely eject. But at the moment I need to keep certain window tabs open so I don't want to log out yet. But I need to take out my flash drive. How can I safely remove it right now?What about using the "disable de

    Removing security features from Sandisk flash drive

    Open a CMD window as administrator and type: diskpart list disk (it will list all drives. Identify the USB drive number) select disk n (replace n by the USB drive number obtained with list disk) clean convert mbr create part primary select part 1 format fs=fat32 quick assign exit (to exit diskpart)

    No Safely remove notifiction pop up, HAVE Icon

    1st suggestion didnt work at all.
    2nd suggestion works but after that when i stop the device the "normal way" its still the same, no "safe to remove device" shows up

    Copying movie to Flash Drive

    One way on how to save and move files to a flash drive is by using the File Explorer in Windows 10. To assist you with your concern, to save your movie file to a flash drive, we suggest that you follow these steps:

    • Connect your USB flash drive to your PC.
    • Navigate to the folder or location where you save your movie files.
    • Right-click on the movie file and select
      Copy
      .
    • Right-click on the Start menu, and select
      File Explorer.
    • On the left-pane, double-click on This PC.
    • Double-click on the drive letter that correspond to your USB flash drive.
    • Right-click and select Paste.
    • Wait for the process to complete the transfer.
    • Once you’re done, you can safely remove your USB flash drive.
