    Removing OneDrive in Word 2013


    I do not want OneDrive on my laptop but, after using a program to edit the Register that removed OneDrive from File Explorer, OneDrive - Personal still displays in MS Word 2013's Save As display. Tried to remove by Unlinking Word from my Microsoft Account but will not work apparently with 2013 version. Is there a way to remove this connection or its display during Save As? From searching on this issue it appears that later versions of MS Word do allow you to remove this reference to OneDrive. Is that true for Office 360 version of Word?

    Windows 10 - OneDrive

    Right click on the app and one of the properties has an option to not automatically start it. Uncheck, restart the computer, and it should stop. If you want to go another step further, find the OneDrive app in the start menu, right click on it and uninstall.

    If that is still insufficient, there is a batch uninstaller for OneDrive available online. I can copy the code here if you need it.

    Removing a word from dictionary

    I believe that you are talking about the "suggested words list". It is stored in a file called DYNCOMPDICT.DAT in the Windows folder.



    You can use a note editor to edit it in order to remove the offending word...
