    Removing Read Only from my own files transferred from old laptop Windows 7 to new laptop...


    Purchased new laptop to change to Windows 10 with more memory. My own files were transferred from old laptop with Windows 7. I am not able to access all of them inorder to save new information. Very frustrating. Read directions to remove read only command and it does not change permanently so I can save new information. Have only had Windows 10 for 4 days and already can see so many problems over the Windows 7.

    Will Windows 10 on new laptop accept the Migwiz file (easy transfer) from Windows 7 old laptop. I have saved that file on an external hard drive

    I recently purchased a new laptop with windows 10. My old laptop has windows 7. Can anyone list the step-by-step instructions for transferring the data to the new machine? I understand that windows easy transfer is no longer an option for windows 10.

    Easy Transfer from old laptop, with temporary profile log in and Windows 7, to new laptop.

    I want to transfer my files and documents from my old HP Laptop to a new HP Laptop. The old has been giving me problems and I get logged on with the Temporary Profile, which prevents me using the Easy Transfer. Is there a resolution? I have Windows
