Windows 10: Removing Trusteer files

Discus and support Removing Trusteer files in Windows 10 Network and Sharing to solve the problem; I have uninstalled Trusteer Rapport and I am left with the files below in Pograms X86/Trusteer/Rapport.     Removing Trusteer files


    I have uninstalled Trusteer Rapport and I am left with the files below in Pograms X86/Trusteer/Rapport. Although I apply full permissions I get the error message shown whenever I try to delete. How can I delete these files. My reason for needing to delete this is that I get the following messages in my event log and I believe this is contributing to my PC hanging

    The RapportMgmtService service failed to start due to the following error:
    The application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect. Please see the application event log or use the command-line sxstrace.exe tool for more detail.

    Grateful for any advice

    IBM Trusteer - Rapport (not supported in Edge)


    If you use Rapport, which usually is a suggestion by some banks for online banking including HSBC, please note that Microsoft Edge is not supported. Comment from IBM Trusteer support below:

    Rapport cannot protect web sessions performed in unsupported browsers and its icon will not appear in these browsers.

    Support for additional browsers may be incorporated in future releases of Rapport, but unfortunately there are no immediate plans of this kind.

    However, IE11 is still available in Windows 10
    /Programmes/Windows Accessories folder.

    Remove account

    I suggest you backup your personalized files first before removing the account.
    To delete an account, follow these steps:
    1. Press WIN + X keys and click Command Prompt (Admin) from the menu.
    2. Type the following command and press Enter. Replace test with the name of your sister's account. Code:

    you get the idea. ( too lazy to put it in a for loop and test it.

    or just open regedit and remove all the fileX from that key.
