Windows 10: Removing Work/School Account especially Onedrive correctly

Hello Everyone,I have recently tried to remove my school account from windows 11, but there seem to be a couple of problems left. One of which is not being able to remove the Onedrive Folders correctly.Note: I do NOT have any more access to this school account.The Onedrive was backing up my Desktop, as well as other Files That where purely online. Now, i have unlinked the device from the account, but the Onedrive Folder still remains in the File Explorer and i cannot seem to delete it. When i try to delete certain files, i receive the error: 0x80070091Also, how should i remove it correctly?I a

Remove Deactivated Work Or School Email Account

I have an organizational email account that has been deactivated, current guides online say the following:

"If you need to remove an account from your PC:

1. Select Start > Settings > Accounts > Access work or school .
   
2. Select the account you wish to remove, then select Disconnect
   
   ...."
   

However, the only option presented at this section is "Manage" which forwards me to my organization's page to login. The account has since been deactivated with no way to get to the next step.
I have been getting notifications from my system that "There is a problem with a work or school account click her to fix now" but obviously can't login to remove the account from the system.
Is there a work around to remove the account without logging in?

 

Removing Work or School Account Deletes Data or Not?

If that account is only listed in the Emails and Accounts and Access Work or School sections, and not in the 'Your Info' section, you can safely disconnect that account, that will not cause any loss of data on your PC.

One thing though, if you have data stored in that school account on OneDrive online (Your request has been blocked. This could be due to several reasons.), you should download that data, in case your school closes that account.

 

Onedrive asking to sign in to a school account

Hello, A few years ago, I lost access to my school email and had to create a new personal email for windows. My files sync fine with the new email, but once a day, I get a prompt asking me to sign into sharepoint and when I click the button to sign in, the only option I have is for the school account which I don't have access to. I deleted everything that started with Microsoft Office from credential manager that didn't have my personal email in the username field, ran the command C:\Program Files\Microsoft OneDrive\onedrive.exe /reset to reset onedrive, and uninstalled/reinstalled onedrive to no avail. Does anyone know what I missed here or why my school account is still connected? EDIT: I saw a SSO_POP_User credential that I missed in credential manager. Maybe that will fix it. I just unlinked and link my account and wasn't prompted to sign in; however, when the select an account prompt comes up, the school email appears in the list of options.
