    renaming function NOT working properly when renaming a set of pictures


    I order my phots in a folder by giving each of them a name to put them in the right place. When I try to select all photos in the folder and given them another name, the pictures are all mixed up with the new name, NOT the order I put or want. How can I stop Windows from messing up the order of the pictures during rename a set of pictures? Also, a few have the SAME name.

    Maybe you have not read my 1st post before answering - please read the part in bold letters and see if you can suggest any solution.



    I suggest you take a picture > exit the camera > go to photos > rename it to "abcdxyz" as you have worked out > NOW TRANSFER THE RENAMED PICTURE TO YOUR PC OR ANY OTHER PHONE > and check the name again > what's the name of the picture shown in other device
    now ?
