rendering lag or improper screen updates

A few months ago, I upgraded to Windows 24H2 and encountered a graphical issue where secondary applications such as Chrome, Discord, and other non-game software displayed rendering lag or improper screen updates. However, games running at the same time were unaffected. After troubleshooting extensively, I found no solution and decided to revert to Windows 23H2, where everything worked perfectly without any issues. Random lag spikes

    Hi,

We would like to know more about your lag issue:

    • What browser are you using when you experience a lag?
    • Does the lag occur in a particular game?

In the meantime, we suggest you run the System Maintenance troubleshooter. Here are the steps:

    • Press Windows Key + X.
    • Click on Control Panel.
    • Select Troubleshooting.
    • On the left pane, click on View All.
    • Click on System Maintenance to run the troubleshooter.

    Looking forward to your response.

White screen, mega lag with Edge, windows 10 mobile

The above suggested ideas do not fix the problems.

Sometimes locking the screen / pressing the tab button magically makes the page render instantly.

So does anyone else have ideas to properly fix these issues?

To replicate the lag try and write a reply on this page with a Lumia 550.

Unigine Valley or Heaven (use this for quick testing while changing settings in Wattman and checking for stability / artifacts) ...just suggesting this
How to monitor cores / mem speeds and temps during testing (I've seen screen overlays, and others using GPUz)

    Step-by step overclocking in Wattman
    Fan speeds
    Power limit
