    Hello!A few days ago I suddenly started encountering the BSoD CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT and it has been happening several times a day now.I cannot recreate the BSoD, it always happens at different times doing different things.My laptop is an ASUS Vivobook S 14.Operating System - Microsoft Windows 11 Home 64-bit 10.0.22631Firmware - Release date 20240313 Version S5402ZA.312Processor - 12th Gen IntelR coreTM i7 - 12700HGraphics card - IntelR IrisR Xe GraphicsWireless card - IntelR Wi-Fi 6E AX211 160MHzStorage - SSD/EMMC 1 476 GB, Micron_2450_MTFDKBA512TFKMemory - Total 16 GBLink to Wind

    BSOD whea_uncorrectable_error and clock_watchdog_timeout

    Hello,

    After Cmos reset and clean Windows 10 install I'm started getting some BSODs.
    First time I've got whea_uncorrectable_error and some time later clock_watchdog_timeout.

    Now I'm getting clock_watchdog_timeout all the time when I try to start AIDA64 stability test and in the middle game of CS:GO.

    CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT After Leaving PC for 5-10 Minutes


    Daemon tools, Alcohol 120% and Power Archiver Pro uses SCSI Pass Through Direct (SPTD), which is a well known cause for BSOD's.
    Please remove Daemon Tools and run the SPTD pass through remover.

    1. Uninstall Daemon Tools
    2. Download the SPTD standalone installer and follow these steps:
      • Double click the executable to open it
      • Click on the button shown below

    Reoccuring BSoD CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT [​IMG]

    If the button is grayed out, like in the image, there is no more SPTD installation on your system, and you can close the window.

    The 0x101(CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT) is mostly caused by BIOS or hardware problem, the challenge is to find software problems.
    I suggest to update your BIOS.
