    Reoccurring Trojan:Win32/Zpevdo.B Virus

    Hi,

This Trojan popped on my weekly full virus scan this morning Trojan:Win32/Zpevdo.B. After I took the recommended action it seemed to be gone. Later in the day I did another full scan to verify it was indeed still gone and it came up again. Again I took the recommended actions and it appears to be gone. Do I need to do something different or additionally?

    Thanks,

    Glen Reid

    Trojan- Win32/Dynamertic

I am trying to get rid of a Trojan called
win32/Dynamertic and windows defender detects the Trojan but is not able to remove it. Half way through the removal the PC just hangs and I have to go into Task Manger and close defender down. Tried on line and off line to remove the
virus but no luck. Today was my fourth try.

Is there a solution to getting rid of this Trojan???

trojan virus: Win32/Dynamer ! ac showing on windows.

Try several scanners from this List
    of Malware Removal Tools
and see if any malware is identified.

Are you using a Compaq or HP Computer?

This is a known intermittent issue (being reported for years) involving probable false malware detections by MS antimalware programs only. Other scanners such as the Eset Online Scanner, Kaspersky Virus Removal Tool, Malwarebytes typically detect no
issues in the D drive of HP laptops (installed by HP when the computer was manufactured) and thus far neither HP or MS has taken steps to prevent it from occasionally occurring.

There are two methods of dealing with this problem discussed on the HP Forum. One solution is to exclude the D Drive from being scanned by Windows Defender or MSE depending on which program you are using. The other solution is to remove/delete the
    recovery partition (D Drive).

A third solution is to install a third party antimalware program (which should disable WD) and that will of course eliminate the false detections.

If you prefer to switch to a third party program there are a number of good antimalware programs available - free and paid - take your pick.

It's your option which of the three potential solutions you would prefer to use to eliminate this issue.

If the detection is not in the recovery drive of a HP laptop, then if you’ll post back we’ll try to analyze this a bit further and try to determine why you are seeing these repeated
detections by Windows Defender. It might be that you need to try the steps recommended in this free removal guide by Malwaretips:https://malwaretips.com/blogs/trojan-win32-dynamer-ac-removal/
