Windows 10: Repair corrupted JPGs

Discus and support Repair corrupted JPGs in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; I recovered the pics after I deleted them, But half of them are corrupted !     Repair corrupted JPGs


    I recovered the pics after I deleted them, But half of them are corrupted !
    Any suggestions about a software that I might use !

    fogot to metion that I also ran the SFC checker tool with the Deployment Image Servicing and Management (DISM) tool and got this result

    Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some

    of them. Details are included in the CBS.Log windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For

    example C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. Note that logging is currently not

    supported in offline servicing scenarios.

    Windows Photo Viewer can't open this picture because either Photo Viewer doesn't support this file format, or you don't have the latest updates to Photo Viewer

    Clearly the recovered files are damaged. When you undelete a file, there's no guarantee that it is valid, especially if that USB drive was written to with any data after the deletion.

    There are some tool for repairing a damaged jpg, but whether they might work will depend on the state of the file. See this article for example (I haven't used the free programs mentioned. These days we need to be very careful with any freeware which often
    bundles nuisance programs or malware.)

    I was in a similar situation to yours last year. I accidentally deleted files from a volume I used EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard recovery my files . While I got a lot of files back, not surprisingly, many of them were corrupt .It Works pretty well. Not Perfect(Nothing is) but i've had some good luck with that. But for future reference, the best way to increase the chances of a successful recovery is to keep the disk defragmented .
