    Repair Install with burned ISO


    Its a friend's machine that might benefit from a repair install.
    I have a cd with the techbench iso download burned via Imageburn software.
    I installed Win10 v2 with this cd successfully.
    The friend used the media center download routine to update to Win 10 2nd version
    There are various issues and the latest was a MOAPPHang
    Is it possible to to use my cd iso for a repair install on the friend's machine?
    Both machines are 64 bit.

    You can download a ISO for the Creator's Update of March 2017 here...

    Windows 10 Creators Update 1703 Download • Windows ISO

    I provided this because the current version of Windows 10 Fall Creator's Update (1709) has problems with some of it's repair features...

    You can either burn this to a DVD with a Image burning tool, or burn it to a Flash Drive...

    Select REPAIR on the lower left of the Install screen to get to repair options...

    BSoD Windows 10! Approximately 100 Windows Updates trying to install but it's only at 1%

    Happy to help.

    After downloading the ISO and either burning it to dvd or copying it to USB boot from the ISO. Start setup from the ISO>on the first screen it will say install & repiar my computer. Click repair my computer>follow the instructions.

    yes, you can use the techbench media..

    run setup.exe from within the Host OS
