Windows 10: repairing disk errors this might take an hour' loop on windows 10

Hi,On start-up my windows 10 says 'disk errors' then 'preparing to repair' then to 'Diagnosing your PC' and then proceeds to re-start and the repeats the process and keeps looping... I cannot do anything else and I do not have my Windows recovery DVD backup I have turned the power off. Disconnected it. I have held the windows button down on start-up.It just continues to start, then appear to repair then shutsdown only to restart and loop all over again. This means that I am unable to put it into safe mode. This all started to happen ever since my last windows update a few days ago. How else ca

My Lenovo G50 is stuck in a "Repairing disk errors. This might take over an hour to complete." loop since I turned it on several hours ago. What are my options to correct this issue (in layman's terms please)? Thanks!

  I see is a Lenovo logo screen
• with circling dots

  transitioning between these three messages:

• 
  1) "Preparing Automatic Repair"
  
  2) "Repairing disk errors. This might take over an hour to complete."

  3) "Diagnosing your PC"

• 
  It continuous in this cycle over and over with the screen turning black for a second before starting the loop

We suggest you to repair your system using Windows 10 installation USB media and check if it corrects the problem.

Follow these steps:

• Disconnect all non-essential devices that might attached to your computer, Windows setup might be trying to detect them.
• If you connected to a network, disconnect this also.
• Download the Windows 10 ISO on a working computer and perform a startup repair:
• Click here to download the official ISO media for Windows 10.
  

After creating the USB installation media for Windows 10, follow the steps below:

      Insert the installation USB drive and boot Windows 10 from it.
      
    • 
      In the ‘Windows setup’ page select the ‘language to install’, ‘Time and currency format’ and the ‘keyboard or input method’ and click on ‘next’.
      
    • 
      Click on ‘Repair your computer’ and select ‘Troubleshoot’.

      Click on ‘Advanced options’ and select ‘Startup Repair’ and select the operating system.
