Random BSOD while browsing internet


BitDefender is nothing special. mwac.sys causes BSODs anywhere.

In that very thread, the suggested action apparently worked.

The storage and network filters of any third party antivirus can cause BSODs. Neither MBAM nor BitDefender is any special. For a regular antivirus, it may be shifted to an alternative; but MBAM has no alternative. So a clean install of the said program is the most feasible first step.
As far as the first step is not failing, it is better to not think for the second step. Because the BSODs are not universal, failure at the first step is not universal; and success at the second step is also not universal.
That is why I posted that my suggestion may work, or may not. Let us see where it goes.

 

Random freezes or BSODs (In windows drivers)

The clean install is preferred as it will eliminate confounding factors.
If you can't do a clean install the drivers need to be uninstalled again as they were recurrent bsod.
It's a puzzle as to why there are so many recurrent bsod for the same driver.
Were they uninstalled and reinstalled?
How were the steps performed?
These must be uninstalled and reinstalled:
nvlddmkm.sys...... recurrent
jnprns.sys..............new
The others depend upon whether you use the products.

Which link had you read for the "vanilla" clean install?

Plan two weeks of testing for the vanilla clean install.
Allow two days or more for each steps A and B. Then one day or more for each steps C and D.

When possible please use this method and allow sufficient time for each step so that you are confident that enough time was spent to rule in / rule out freezes and crashes for each of these steps:
a) Windows clean install of just Microsoft and non-Microsoft drivers (no Windows updates)
b) Windows clean install of just Microsoft and non-Microsoft drivers with Windows updates (no drivers from the computer or motherboard manufacturer's)
c) Windows clean install of Windows with one driver from the computer or motherboard manufacturer's websites
d) Add one driver and perform at least on day of testing before adding additional drivers
e) Keep repeating step d until all drivers are installed

If there are freezes or crashes with steps a or b then there will be other tests performed. So the first four or more days of testing are critical.
