Windows 10: Repeated accents on installed Spanish keyboard

I use the spanish keyboard Spain layout on a daily basis. When using it, I should be able to press an accent key eg [ ´ ] or [ ¨ ] or [ ` ] , then press the letter eg [a] or [e] or , and an accented character should appear on the screen eg á or ë or ù.When using the English keyboard, this words fine. However, I would have to switch keyboards back and forth, not ideal. In word, the accent appears twice, followed by an unaccented character.I have 2 keyboard layouts installed all used to work fine two weeks ago; specifically, I have the English US, the Spanish Spain layouts.EXAMPL

I use the spanish keyboard (Latinamerica) layout on a daily basis. When using it, I should be able to press an accent key (eg [ ´ ] or [ ¨ ] or [ ` ] ), then press the letter (eg [a] or [e] or , and an accented character should appear on the screen (eg á or ë or ù).

When using the windows email app, this works fine. However, when using any other program, the accent appears twice, followed by an unaccented character, unless I press the two keys at exactly the same time. This is not ideal - and frustrating because I know a number of other people who have the same laptop and the spanish (latinamerica) keyboard layout works fine for them!

I have 3 keyboard layouts installed (all used to work fine); especifically, I have the English (US), the Spanish (Latinamerica) and the Spanish (Spain) layouts.

I have this problem even if I use the onscreen keyboard.

EXAMPLE

I get ´´o instead of ó. This didn't happen before.

I'm running Windows 10 Pro (version 2004 - OS Version 19041.746) on a Acer Travelmate X3410 Series.

How to accent letters using a Spanish keyboard on Windows 10?

Hey, I had a question about how you use a Spanish keyboard in Windows 10. I used to be able to use it just fine by pressing the right AlT button and the letter to accent it. But now even with the Spanish keyboard on I can't figure out how to accent words.
And nothing on the internet has helped thus far.

I understand that you are facing issues with using Spanish accented vowels on Windows 10.

I suggest you to perform the below steps and check if it helps. We will require keypad numbers on the right side of the keyboard to perform below steps.

First we need to add Spanish language pack on the computer.

1. Click on Search bar.

2. Then type “Language” without the quotes in the search bar and click on it.

3. Click on Add a language.

4. Search for Spanish language from the list and click on Open
button.

5. Then select the Spanish (spain) and click on Add.

6. Try to change to Spanish language mode from taskbar.

7. Press and Hold Alt Key. Then tap on code given provided in the below link. Check if it helps.

For example, if you want to type accented a captital letter in Spanish.

Press and Hold Alt key. Then tap on numbers: 0913 which is available at the right side of the keyboard.
