    Repeated ntoskrnl.exe INTERNAL_POWER_ERROR when returning from sleep


    The problem is happening with maddening frequency and I'd rather not reinstall my entire system. Essentially when I let my computer go to sleep there's a 60/30 chance it will error out and cause me to have to reboot the entire machine. sometimes the entire computer will be off but most of the time the standby light is not blinking but is solid, and the keyboard RGB is illuminated as well. Please see my attached DMP file from this morning for the most recent issue. I've updated all my drivers, bios, ran DDU for my video drivers, etc... so I'm at wits end. I'd pull my hair out but I don't have a

    • Update your Realtek audio driver.
    • Update your computer.
    • Disable overclocking settings.
    • Turn off BlueStacks/ another Android emulator.
    • Clean your registry.
    • Check your disk for errors.
    • Fix bad memory issues.
    • Remove faulty sticks of RAM.
