*Note: I've already asked this question on Intel support forums, but have been redirected here. I'm pretty sure this is a bug either with Windows or the Intel's drivers.Every time I try to install a new Iris Xe driver, I keep getting a prompt to install .NET 8.0.0. Even though I have, numerous times. I'm sure that this is a bug, yet is there any way to work around it?Extra Info:1. 12th Gen IntelR CoreTM i5-1235U 1.30 GHz2. HP Pavilion x460 2-in-1 Laptop 14-ek0xxx3. All driver updates were working fine before, yet it seems this specific path requires the .NET framework, inc

    help installing ubuntu with beryl

i am having some problems =/
I followed the steps and i get to this point

    Install Nvidia GPU Drivers
Installing Nvidia’s closed-source 3D-accelerated drivers is easy with Feisty. Go to System > Administration > Synaptic Package Manager and search for the nvidia-glx package. Right-click the selection and select “Mark for installation.” You’ll be prompted with a list of dependencies, which you’ll need to approve for the application to work. Click Apply to download and install the app. Then open a new terminal (Applications > Accessories > Terminal) and run this command: sudo nvidia-xconfig –add-argb-glx-visuals; follow the prompts and reboot.

After i type sudo nvidia-xconfig –add-argb-glx-visuals in the terminal, it prompts me for a password and it doesn't respond to anything i type =/ here is a screeny
